The Boston Cream Pie Teaches Perfectionism 

You immediately think of Chicago when you hear “deep dish”.  

Beignets are plate New Orleans. Cheesecake is widespread, but New York comes to mind first.  

And since Boston is in the name of the pie, it just could be the best.

The Parker House Hotel, now the Omni Parker House, opened in 1855  

and was the longest-running US hotel until the pandemic forced its demise.  

Due to its longevity, the hotel won two culinary accolades: 

The dish was named “Boston” after a 1950 Betty Crocker cookbook recipe for “Boston Cream Pie”.
